Provides added safety and ladder stability on even or uneven ground. |
Create a wider, more stable platform for almost any ladder with the Qual-Craft Basemate Easy Connect Professional Ladder Stabilizer. The Basemate quickly adjusts to outdoor terrain that is uneven or rocky.
The Basemate features a triple-action locking system that holds the stabilizing arch firmly in place. To adjust the Basemate on uneven terrain, simply tap on the release lever with your foot and the weight of the ladder drops, allowing the arch to slide and make the ladder plumb. The easy connect attachment arms clamp securely to rungs from 12 to 44 inches wide.
One of the biggest dangers of ladder use is improper setup on uneven ground. The Basemate roots itself firmly in rocky and uneven conditions thanks to its non-slip, adjustable rubber feet that keep the ladder from moving out of position. An included ice pick feature provides extra stability in dirt or sand.
Weight-tested to 1,200 pounds, Basemate helps to make nearly any extension ladder safer to use. Basemate exceeds ANSI Type 1A and CSA Grade 1 weight requirements for ladders.
Compatible with Most Ladders
With its easy connect system, Basemate attaches in seconds to virtually any wooden, fiberglass, or aluminum extension ladder. The stabilizer adds less than 7 pounds to the ladder's total weight. Basemate's arch is made from hardened stainless steel, and both the arch and braces are zinc-plated to resist corrosion. All you need to do to install the stabilizer is remove a ladder's feet and attach the braces (instructions included).
